LIVE MUSIC ON CHICAGO’S NORTH SHORE

As we watch the days get longer and see signs of spring around the corner, we want to share an update about SPACE’s plans for outdoor events this summer. 

June 14th and 15th we’ll once again venture north to help produce Winnetka Music Festival in that charming downtown district. Our third year partnering with this lovely home-spun event, it is a really fun way to spend Father’s Day weekend on the North Shore. We’ve packed that two-day lineup with 20+ artists that we think you’ll really love. Keep your eyes peeled for that announcement in the next week or two. 

Out of Space returns July 26-28 at an exciting new location near downtown Skokie! Our beloved Canal Shores Golf Course is finishing up their massively-impressive renovation project, and while it will be perfect for golfing this summer, the grass has not had a chance to mature enough to withstand our type of use just yet. We can’t wait to bring Out of Space back home in 2025, but are thrilled to share this new location with you which has tons of charm, lush green grass for picnicking, easy free parking, public transit, is friendly for walkers and bikers, and sports a super fun line-up of artists.

Last but not least, we’re thrilled to announce Evanston Folk Festival will take place on our spectacular Lakefront at Dawes Park on September 7th and 8th. A celebration of the rich folk music tradition that has guided SPACE since day one and has so many roots in our Evanston community. A folky folk festival if ever there was one, and with the most stunning views of Lake Michigan, we’re honored to be entrusted with this special location and responsibility. We’ve got all sorts of fun up our sleeves for this weekend along with a few dozen of the finest songwriters and players we know. We’ll have a line-up and more information later this spring. 

We’re looking forward to spending some summer nights together, taking in music under the stars. Much more to come, and in the meantime, save the dates below!
